Tampa Bay Blues Festival 2022 features monumental blues powerhouses such as JJ Grey and Mofo, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Larkin Poe, Jimmie Vaughan, Ronnie Earl, Samantha Fish, Eric Gales, Danielle Nicole, Nick Moss Band featuring Dennis Gruenling, Mindi Abair & the Boneshakers, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Sugar Ray & the Bluetones, Killborn Alley Blues Band, The Bruce Katz Band, and the Backtrack Blues Band. Tampa Bay Blues Festival is an annual gathering of Blues enthusiasts from all over the country.
Since 1995, some of the most sought-after blues artists and bands are lined up to take the stage in the scenic Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg, Florida. These American blues performers showcase their music right at the waterfront. The festival had won the Blues Foundation’s 2011 “Leepin the Blues Slice Award for Best U.S. Blues Festival.
Since its inception, the festival has welcomed legendary blues artists, such as Stephen Still, Taj Mahal, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Delbert McClinton, George Thorogood, Jerry Lee Lewis, Irma Thomas, Little Feat, Jonny Lang, Los Lobos, Koko Taylor, Jimmie Vaughan, Susan Tedeschi, and many more.

Vinoy Waterfront Park
The lush green and palm trees acres create a perfect setting for a blues music celebration under the tropical weather of the sunshine state. The Vinoy Waterfront Park was named after Vinoy Park Hotel, which is located adjacent to the park. Located in the downtown of St. Petersburg, the park makes for a popular destination for concerts and festivals. In addition to events, visitors also come to the park for recreation and sports activities. Aside from the park, guests who like to visit the beach can travel 20 minutes from St. Petersburg to Ft. DeSoto Beach, which was recently named one of the world’s best beaches.
Tampa Bay Blues Festival is produced by a not-for-profit corporation called the Tampa Bay Blues Foundation, Inc. proceeds from the festival go to the foundation’s charity partner, Promoting Advocacy and Recognizing Capabilities (PARC).
Gates Open
Gates will open approximately 30 minutes before the music starts. Guests can enter the venue through the main entry gate located at Fifth Avenue NE & Bayshore Drive.
