What more could any blues lover want than five incomparable, ultimate legends on one single day?

The award-winning Walter Trout is a walking exhibition of blues and rock guitar. He has it all: phrasing, tone, technique, and solos that will make anyone’s head spin; and to top it all, a locker full of superb, hard-rocking blues songs – from ‘Waiting for the Dawn’ to ‘Me, My Guitar, and the Blues’, from ‘Blues for My Baby’ to ‘Playin’ Hideaway’. He is, for sure, one of the finest musicians on this, or any other planet – all the more reason to catch him live!

Curtis Salgado is not just “that other guy playing the blues" - he’s the man that brought the world smash hits such as ‘The Longer That I Live’, ‘Walk a Mile in My Blues’, and ’20 Years of B.B. King’. Curtis Salgado is armed to the teeth with a collection of honest, soulful music that reflects his incredible musical sensibilities, coming from somewhere deep within, where the spirit of his music lives. It would be a ‘low down dirty shame’ for any blues lover to miss him!

When it comes to Ruthie Foster, we can all agree that this here is the blues. She croons, she belts, she reimagines, she creates, she scats - she delivers it all with a fire burning so hot that it could ignite the passion for blues of generations. Her powerhouse vocals and phenomenal three-octave vocal range are something to behold – and the truth is that there simply is no world of blues-listeners where Ruthie Foster does not exist.

If Blues had a body, Selwyn Birchwood would be it. It’s just plain good old music with hooks that will really "hook" you, and an artist having a hell of a lot of fun while at it! With bangers such as ‘Hoodoo Stew’, ‘Horns Below Her Halo', and ‘Brown Paper Bag’, he literally proves that the ‘blues is really alright’.

Mathias Lattin is a monumental talent on Planet Blues, delivering a stinging attack on the strings unlike you’ve ever seen before. He has it all: detailed guitar licks, rhythmic chops, infectious energy, and musical prowess for days!

Vinoy Park is everything when it comes to quality entertainment and stunning outdoor features. Even though most tickets are general admission, bench-style seating can be provided, alongside ample lawn space, making it perfect for a picnic-style outing while enjoying the best of the best.
