Grab your 4-day pass for Reggae Rise Up Florida at St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park running from Thursday, March 13th right through to Sunday, March 16th 2025. Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution, SOJA, Dirty Heads and The Movement top the festival’s 2025 lineup.
The absolutely HUGE bands, Iration, Lettuce, Bombargo and Ichroniq will kick off the party on Thurday, while Sting & Shaggy will be headlining that night with, “Light The Vibes Kickoff Party.”
Friday will see sets by Collie Buddz, The Elovaters, Matisyahu, aurorawave, Bikini Trill, Bumpin Uglies and more, with a surprise headliner to join Slightly Stoopid.
Rebelution, SOJA, will headline and there will be sets from Pepper, Tribal Seeds, Brothers Within and Coyote Island, among others, making for an outstanding Saturday, March 15.
And finally, closing out the festival will see Rome, Atmosphere, HIRIE, Dale and the ZDubs, Kash’d Out, Passafire and more on Sunday, March 16 with headline sets from Rome, and Atmosphere.
Reggae Rise Up Florida 2025
Founded in 2015, Reggae Rise Up Florida is the flagship event of the franchise and this year sees it celebrate 10 years of the largest and most-recognized reggae festivals in the country! The biggest and best names in reggae music, Reggae Rise Up Florida Festival continues to set the standard year after year, bringing together over 15,000 fans per day!
With a massive lineup across multiple stages, state-of-the-art production, a massive array of interactive activities, large-scale art installations to wonder about, over 100 exciting and unique craft and food vendors, plus dozens of beverage stations. And once this has all exhausted you, there's ample space to lay out and relax and watch the palm trees.
Thursday Headliner Sting & Shaggy
A not so surprising duo, listen closely to many Police songs, and you'll hear an energetic Reggae backbeat. Meanwhile, Kingston, Jamaica born Shaggy is a sure fire winning headliner on his own!
Friday Headliner Slightly Stoopid
Described as “a spiritual bath of positive party energy,” they are a band that needs no introduction... and super eclectic when it comes to musical styles as well as collaborations, so expect some interesting surprises when they hit the stage! The California-based multi-instrumentalists are Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty along with drummer Ryan “Rymo” Moran; percussionist Oguer “OG” Ocon; saxophonist Daniel “Dela” Delacruz; keyboardist Paul Wolstencroft; trumpet and trombone player Andy Geib.
Saturday Headliner Rebelution
Reggae Rise Up would not be a Reggae festival without Rebelution. Topping the Billboard Reggae Chart for the first of five consecutive number 1 records in 2009, and a Grammy nomination in 2017. The band have sold-out venues from Red Rocks to The Greek Theatre, along with festival slots at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, ACL, Glastonbury, and more.
Sunday Headliner Dirty Heads
Forming back in 2003 as a collaboration between punk rocker Dustin Bushnell (aka Duddy B), and rapper Jared Watson (aka Dirty J) along with percussionist Jon Olazabal. The Dirty Heads topped Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart in the summer of 2010 and their 2013 album debuted at number 8 on the Billboard Top 200, while their followup album from 2016 also scored high on the chart.
